Week 2 day 1 football camp

It is always nerve wrecking the first day of a new venture as you don't know what to expect or what pitfalls there might be and so I didn't get much sleep last night with last minute preparations and thinking about the day to follow. The football camp got off to a good start , there were not loads of kids, just 14, but there were some kids I didn't know and a few people popped in to see what we were doing so I think we will have more tomorrow. The kids enjoyed it and our half time talk was about referees and how they point out the things we do wrong on the pitch and the bible points out what we do wrong in life. Gerry will be doing the half time talk tomorrow please pray for him as he prepares and pray for more kids to come and for the weather to stay dry, it is ALOT cooler today than last week but it looks like it might rain at any minute.
