Flu

Well I was bragging about avoiding all the illnesses this season (apart from a minor 2 day head cold) and now I have been struck down with a flu :( don't mention pride comes before a fall!!!
I  have been sick since Saturday and feel like I will never be well again (I know I am a bad patient).
The Ladies in the church had organised a night out to a restaurant to welcome me to the church but I was too ill to go which was a real bummer too!

I had to make the decision yesterday to take the week off work and so I won't be running club this Wednesday. Please pray for the others as they run the club this week at short notice, we only had 6 kids last week (from 2 church families) please also pray the rest of the kids come back, I am presuming they didn't realise we were back after our half term break.

Visitors

I had some more visitors this past weekend, Susan, Ruth and Avril came to visit, we had a mad, fun weekend and it was great to see them all! 

Half term

Hi all sorry I have not updated my blog recently but you know how it is.
Believe it or not is it already half term so there is no club this week, and so I decided to start the job of sorting out my office; I started last Thursday but I only scratched the surface as I had meetings on thurs and fri and then I went away on sat for the weekend so it looks worse now that it did before i started 'sorting' it out! I really want to get stuck into it today (pancake tues) so hopefully I will be all organised and it will make life easier for me in the long run!!! I also want to catch up on some emails this week and start to get myself organised for club next week and next term!! Club has been going well and we had 18 at club last week! We are continuing our series in the life of David. Thanks for your continued prayers love charis xx
