club

Hi all we had 11 at club today and we finished a series about Jesus that were doing for the last 5 clubs- we covered the 'I am' saying of Jesus and we have been learning the memory verse John 14:6. Today we did the story of Blind Bartimaeus and talked about Jesus being the light of the world!Below you will see a picture of the craft we made, it's a sun-catcher. 

The last club of the school year will be in 2 weeks time, the 27th May, we will have a party and we have invited the parents to come for a prize giving for the last 20 mins of the club, please pray the parents come and please pray for the Holy spirit to be at work in the kids lives. The girl that we were praying would come back to club came back again today so that was a great encouragement. thanks for your continued support Charis xx

A busy week ahead

I have a busy week coming up starting with the church outing tomorrow (Sunday) then Monday is prep for club, Tuesday a trip to Dublin with a family from church as they need to go to Dublin for an interview re staying in the country, Wednesday is club and getting ready for visitors who will come Thursday for a few days. Thursday and Friday my visitors arrive and I'll have some time off to sight-see and catch up with old friends!

A few days away

I was away last week for few days with my mum, it was her mother's day/birthday present ( which I got to enjoy too) we just went about 1 1/2 hours away to a place called kilmore Quay but it was a nice break for us both.

Church outing

                                               

We are hoping to go on a church outing tomorrow, weather permitting, to a park called the JFK arboretum it is about a 1 hour drive away, we hope to have a picnic lunch and games, walks, chats etc  Please pray for safety in travel, dry weather and a good time of fun and fellowship,
